Winter is upon us but the summer months were exceptionally good for us again this year with plenty of moves taking place to all UK destinations and we have also seen an increase in overseas removals to Europe and beyond.

On the corporate front we have had another very busy year at Rolls-Royce with a large, two phase move completed at their Hucknall, Nottingham site plus various and ongoing moves at their Derby sites.

Due to the fantastic news of Bombardier winning the Transport for London Crossrail contract to maintain and supply 65 new trains we have enjoyed a large upturn in work for the Derby based train-maker. B E Webbe are to provide removal staff to relocate Bombardier employees from Burton upon Trent and also internally at Derby. This work is proposed to continue until late January 2016.

Our biggest news this year is that we have just completed the purchase of a new Self Storage depot 2 miles north of Nottingham city centre which will be opening in spring 2016.

The new ‘flagship’ depot will become our fifth and largest Self Storage facility with other located in Derby, Burton, Long Eaton and Mansfield.
